Derek Lam Introduces Fall/Winter 2013

February, 2013 (New York)

Derek Lam’s Fall/Winter 2013 ready-to-wear collection displayed modern and controlled pieces with hints of bohemian styling throughout. Lam used classic colors such as nudes, black, navy and oxblood to further accentuate simplicity and elegance in the designs. Derek Lam Fall/Winter 2013 eyewear collection carries over the simple, elegance featured on the runway through classic shapes such as modified cat-eyes and colors such as nudes, tortoise and gray gradients. All frames feature a multi-barrel hinge and exquisite Japanese finishing.

The ophthalmic collection consists of 3 new styles; 246, 247, and 248. The ophthalmic styles feature Italian acetate in classic tortoise, black, gray crystal, gray gradient, matte blue, and crystal blue. Subtle modified cat-eyes and modified squares are easy-to-wear. Unique details such as key-hole bridges displayed in style 246 add a refined touch.

The Sun collection includes 3 new styles; Easton, Brody, and Amari. The sun styles are Italian acetates in nudes, tortoises, brown gradients, blue crystal, red crystal and smoke. The shapes are simple rectangles, modified cat-eye, and rounded square shapes.
